Our journey begins on our family farm in Lake King—'Salmon Haven'. Named for the vast stands of Salmon Gum trees that dominate the region, Salmon Haven was where the foundations of hard work, integrity, and deep respect for farmers and the agriculture sector were first instilled.

Growing up on the farm, Tyson witnessed firsthand both the challenges and the enduring beauty of rural life, experiences that ignited my passion for building better futures for our farming communities.

Over the years, Tyson transitioned from the family farm to leadership roles with key industry bodies, agribusiness, and the media. This broad experience has taught me that effective policy change requires honest dialogue, pragmatic collaboration, and practical solutions.
